Installation

Here's how to set up your DriveVision dashcam in just a few easy steps:

  1. Turn off your car's ignition.

  2. Insert the Micro SD card into the dashcam.

  3. Choose a spot on your windscreen that won’t obstruct your view, and ensure the cable will reach the power source.

  4. Clean the chosen area on your windscreen with a microfiber cloth.

  5. Apply the electrostatic film to the windscreen, cutting it to size if needed.

  6. Peel the adhesive from the dashcam mount and stick it onto the electrostatic film.

  7. Route the cable to the power source, using the provided trim tool to hide it under the trim and roof liner.

  8. If using the USB-C Car Adapter, plug it into your car’s 12V socket. For the hardwire kit, connect the yellow wire to the 12V power, the red wire to the ACC ignition, and the black wire to the ground in the interior fuse box.

  9. Turn on your car’s ignition. If the red light on the dashcam flashes, it’s working correctly.

  10. Use the app to connect to the dashcam and adjust the camera position with the live view.

App Connectivity

Downloading videos and adjusting settings on your DriveVision dashcam is simple:

  1. Download the "Viidure" app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Turn on your car's ignition.

  3. Connect your phone to the "DVR_XXXX" Wi-Fi network.

  4. Open the Viidure app and select "Connect Camera."

  5. Once connected, adjust the dashcam settings and download footage directly to your phone.

  6. Alternatively, you can remove the Micro SD card and insert it into your computer to access the files.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting steps:

Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the dashcam and the power source. If using the hardwire kit, double-check the connections to the fuse box.

If the "DVR_XXXX" Wi-Fi network isn’t appearing on your phone, restart both your phone and the dashcam, then try again.

Use the provided Micro SD card for optimal performance. If you need a replacement, make sure to use a high-speed Micro SD card (Class 10 or above) with a maximum capacity of 256GB for smooth recording and playback.

Confirm that your phone is connected to the "DVR_XXXX" Wi-Fi network before opening the Viidure app. If the problem persists, restart the app and try reconnecting.

Ensure GPS is enabled in the Viidure app. If it still doesn’t work, stop recording in the app before editing settings, and check that the GPS module is securely connected.
