1. Overview
This Footage Submission Agreement (“Agreement”) is operated by DriveVision (ABN 55 676 978 260), Brisbane QLD, Australia (“DriveVision,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By submitting any video, image, or related content (“Footage”) through our submission form or otherwise providing it to us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our general Website Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
- Submissions are open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
- Submitting footage is free and voluntary.
3. Submission Requirements
- Only submit footage you personally recorded using your own dash cam.
- Do not include any unlawful, offensive, or unsafe content.
- Submissions must include your name and a valid email address so we can contact you if we feature your footage.
- By submitting, you confirm that you have the authority to grant the rights described below.
4. Ownership and License
- You retain full ownership of your footage.
- By submitting, you grant DriveVision a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, and publish your footage for commercial, promotional, or educational purposes, including but not limited to social media, paid advertising, website, and email marketing.
- DriveVision does not claim ownership of your footage.
- You warrant that your submission does not infringe upon any copyright, privacy, or intellectual property rights and agree to indemnify DriveVision against any claims resulting from its use.
5. Publicity and Credit
By submitting, you consent to DriveVision crediting your first name and city (where provided) when featuring your footage online or in promotional material, at our discretion.
6. Removal or Withdrawal
If you wish to withdraw permission for us to use your footage, please contact us at contact@drivevision.com.au. We will make reasonable efforts to remove it from future use, although previously published material may remain online or in print.
7. Liability
DriveVision accepts no responsibility for lost, corrupted, or misdirected submissions. To the extent permitted by law, DriveVision excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the submission or use of footage.
8. Privacy
Personal details collected through submissions are used only to manage and communicate about your footage in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
9. General
- DriveVision may modify or discontinue this submission program at any time without notice.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
