Iβm very happy with how clear the videos are.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family
The order and delivery process was seamless. After reading the installation instructions, I decided to have it installed by a professional. The best decision I made. Looks great and appears to be functional. I hope that I never have to use any of the recordings. Exceptionally happy
Hi !
First time with Drive-Vision only around 1 week with it, and loving the unit so far !
It's early days but results so far with it all are looking good.
Keep you updated on more photos & Vidoes in the near future.
Cheers Craig.
Memory cards from DriveVision Australia tested very fast and are the type suitable for Dash Camera usage.
So far Great Cost effective Dash Camera,
video attached show BYD owner reversing after hitting a pole as his model does not have front parking sensors.
The video recording is very clear and the sound quality is amazing.
I had a bit of trouble setting up the app but was able to work my way through it.
So far the only hiccup I have is trying to format the card, no doubt itβll be something simple that Iβve missed .
I followed the instructions for placing the static film on the windscreen and to date, have had no issues.
I have yet to fit the rear camera onto my truck.
I am giving 4 stars as I havenβt really used it yet. Can be a bit complicated to start with. I had it hardwired professionally. Because my new vehicle also has an app connected with my phone, I had to disable that until I got the cameras working. Now I have the car app running again. So I bought a scanner which is on my desktop. Then when I need to review the SD card, I remove it and use my desktop. I also remove the power cable when car is garaged so it doesnβt record those hours.
Looking forward to our next road trip. Thank you
Ordered a week before leaving for overseas holiday and paid for express post to ensure it arrived in time.
It turned up 5 days (3 business days) after we had departed.
I bought two of these thinking there would be one required for both the front and rear cameras but once I took delivery of the cameras I find that there's only one required. Perhaps I should have read the camera description better, waited for the camera to arrive (it took 3 weeks to deliver) or perhaps this should be clearer on the website.
Bought two front and back systems with extra large SD Card.one for my patrol and one for wife's car.
Excellent system easy set-up plus purchased 2 camera systems for what it would cost for other single ones
The camera was easy to install and Iβve managed to hide the wiring easily. I should hard wire it but havenβt got around to that yet. Itβs also in a car that Iβve only driven around the farm, so no interesting footage to show, as yet.
I bought the camera partially to record scenery on a recently planned outback trip but unfortunately I had to cancel.
Iβve now ordered a second camera, for my wifeβs car, based on my positive experience with my first one.
The whole package, which was highly recommended by a Dashcam owners page on fb as the absolute best bang for buck unit available. It out rated even BlackVue, which only offered one extra level of technical capability, but at roughly six times the price, so the choice was an enlightened no-brainer for me. $305 to get Schmicko to professionally install the front & rear cameras and get me to download the operating app to my smartphone and how to use it and I was up & running. Very happy with every aspect of my purchase and installation!
With your front cam only, you can store up to 26 hours of continuous footage before the oldest clips start to overwrite. Running front and rear together, you still get around 19 hours of coverage. Exact times vary depending on your recording settings, the number of locked files on your card, and any photos captured along the way. If parking mode is enabled, this will reduce the amount of loop recording footage available on your card.
Your dash cam uses loop recording, so when the card is full it automatically overwrites the oldest clips to make room for new footage. You never have to manually delete anything and recording never stops. We do recommend formatting your SD card periodically through the app to keep things running smoothly and avoid fragmentation, as SD cards are consumables and regular maintenance helps extend their life.
No. Any clip locked by the G-sensor during a collision or impact is protected and will not be overwritten. Only unlocked footage gets overwritten.
Yes, but it must be at least V30 rated to maintain a minimum write speed of 30MB/s. We also recommend using a high-grade Micro SD card. Standard consumer cards are not built for the constant write cycles and heat inside a dash cam and will fail much sooner, which can lead to recording gaps or corrupted footage.
